Dr. Emily McRae
Dr. Emily McRae is a native Kentuckian. She is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator. Emily is also a wife and mother of four. If she is not caring for children in the hospital or teaching in the classroom Emily can often be found on the sideline of one of her children’s sporting events.
Emily’s experience as a student athlete at Virginia Commonwealth University set the stage for her career based on hard work, dedication, a team mentality, and humble leadership. The University of Kentucky and The University of Louisville provided the stepping stones to help her achieve both personal and professional goals.
While Emily thoroughly enjoys serving in various roles for local and national organizations and as a mentor for young healthcare professionals, she finds learning from her colleagues, students and especially her children to be her inspiration.

Dr. Audra Rankin
Dr. Audra Rankin is a pediatric nurse practitioner and nurse educator. Born and raised in eastern North Carolina, she has a love for college basketball, southern artists and literature, and vinegar based barbeque sauce. Audra's experiences at Carolina, Duke, Hopkins, and Harvard have greatly influenced her love of lifelong learning. Although her academic history includes advanced degrees in nursing, education and business, her commitment to curiosity often leads her outside of the health care industry and into classes, conferences and coffee dates that foster her desire to learn with, from and about others.
Audra has served in many roles in professional nursing organizations and community non-profits and has received awards and fellowships in health policy, leadership, nursing education, and digital innovation. She is the mother of two young daughters, who have taught her more about the importance of impromptu dance parties, creativity, and kindness, than any college degree or award. Dedicated to improving health care delivery through education, policy, and practice change, Audra believes there is always more to learn. She approaches her life with humility and a genuine respect, and awe, of the world around her.
